TSR Australia have started the 2017 Slideways Enduro Series in the best possible fashion, claiming their second victory from as many events at Slideways Go Karting World yesterday.
Anchored by Michael Seeto’s opening stint from pole positon, the winners of our inaugural Enduro Series ran away with the race by an incredible 27.88sec over second place finishers CTS Motorsport, who started from second position, and were solid throughout the 90-lap race.
Global Action Photography rounded out the podium, making the top three positions a mirror image of the top-three finishers from the season opener.
Multi 21 put in a strong showing to come through for fourth place after some spirited racing throughout, while the Old Dogs were closing in toward the chequered flag.
Rounding out the field were new teams STM and Reporter Racing.
The fastest lap of the race report made for interesting reading, with only 0.611sec splitting the field, showing that pre-race benchmark testing of the karts provided parity amongst competitors.

The hit out was also another chance for TSR Australia to prepare for the Sodi World Series Finals, which are scheduled for France in May.
The next Enduro on the schedule is slated for Sunday April 9, with entries expected to bounce back and fill up the grid.
April 23rd will also see the Slideways Sprint Series kick off for solo drivers, with the day to run to a format consisting of 10 minutes practice, 10 minute qualifying, and 10 minutes racing.
On the same day, the Slideways Junior Racing Series commences, with classes for juniors and cadets for drivers aged between 7 and 15.
Complimenting this, the Slideways Junior Karting Academy is already in full swing, offering mid-week tuition to drivers of all ages, improving their skills around our 700 metre long undulating race track.
