Yesterday’s wet weather meant Beat the Clock & Win @ Slideways presented by the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 returned home to Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast, with racers taking on the challenge of the Nerang venue’s three storey indoor drift kart track.
Each hour from 10am to 10pm, the fastest driver received a Gold Coast 600 themed prize pack featuring an awesome selection of goodies, with some lucky drivers winning themselves tickets to this weekend’s big event.

There were some familiar faces in the hourly winners for the day, kicking off with Slideways Supercar driver Maxim Erikson.
In other winners, regular Slideways Race Day competitors at Slideways Go Karting World featured, including Richard Trevillian, Christian Bishop and Liam Hydes, while Raymond Mallin showed that the kids can have some serious speed too.
