Current Points Update

The Sprint Series has grown strongly over the first three rounds of the season, with incredibly competitive racing in all classes.

In the Senior Heavy class, for drivers over 80kg, Pete Brown leads the way after winning five races to date, with sheer consistency seeing Ben Talbot sit in second from Joel Dimmack, who has claimed two wins to date this year.

Meanwhile in the Senior Lights class for drivers under 80kg, Michael Seeto leads the way with two wins, with Clay Seaborne (four wins) and Dean Ferguson (two wins) hot on his tail.

The Cadets class, for drivers aged 7-11 years old, has proven to be a highlight of the season to date, with bumper fields turning on excellent racing. Riley Hill has jumped into the lead after round four, with the competition tight at the top, with Hamish Shields second from Olivia Herbison.

The Juniors class, for drivers aged 12-15 has tightened up in recent rounds, with Jacques Goodman taking a slender points lead over Jacques Goodman, with Lewis Spencer in third.

Many of the Cadet and Junior competitors have been honing their craft in the Slideways Junior Karting Academy, which provides weekly tuition for youngsters, teaching them the tips and tricks of going fast!

While on the Endurance Racing side of the equation, only a handful of points split the top three teams of Global Action Photography, CTS Motorsports and TSR, with all six race victories split between the first and third placed teams.

Highlights of all Slideways Race Days include:

  • Free sausage sizzle at the end of morning trophy presentation
  • All karts are benchmark tested prior to racing to ensure parity
  • All races count for Sodi World Series points
