Slideways Go Karting Centres are proud to get behind Australian famers, with the Karting for the Farmers day set to raise funds for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Appeal.
On Wednesday September 12, 25% of the sale of all two race passes will be donated to the appeal, with all funds assisting farming families and communities, who have been battling against devesting drought conditions.
Many regions throughout rural Australia haven’t seen rain in over 18 months, which is a matter close to Slideways’ hearts, with numerous loyal go karting patrons hailing from country areas.
Adding to the festivities on the day, a fundraising BBQ will be held at each location, kicking off at 5pm.
Slideways Go Karting Centres have grown in recent years to provide the more kart rides than any other company in Australia, with three awesome venues in South-East Queensland.
The chain features two indoor facilities with the legendary Slideways drift track surface, complimented by a traditional high grip, high speed outdoor race track at Pimpama, which has recently installed a comprehensive lighting system for night racing.
