This Sunday (September 3): Solo sprints for Cadets (aged 7-11 years), Juniors (aged 12-15), Senior Lights (under 80kg) & Senior Heavies (over 80kg).
Format: All drivers in all classes receive 10 minutes of qualifying before two 10-minute long races.
Entries: Online, or call the Slideways Go Karting World office on (07) 5546 6566 from 9am-5pm 7 days a week.
Next Sunday (September 10): Pepsi Max National Hire Kart Challenge – The QLD Crown
Format: Three driver teams, 10 minutes qualifying for all drivers, three hour/250 lap race
The Prize: The winning team to represent Queensland at the National Finals in Melbourne on the weekend of September 16/17
Event to be held at Le Mans Go Karts, against teams from New South Wales, South Australia, the ACT and Victoria
Sunday will be spent at the Sandown 500 Supercars event, the main warm up ahead of the Bathurst 1000
The prize includes airfares, accommodation, transfers in Melbourne, karting, Supercars tickets plus paintball for the winning team
