Join the fun at Slideways Go Karting Gold Coast as the Slideways Race Events head indoors this March, with the first ever public races scheduled for our awesome three level drift track at Nerang!
Slideways Enduro Series – March 15
Junior Sprint Series – March 17
Open Sprint Series – March 24
Ladies Sprint Series – March 24
All four series have grown a massive following outdoors at our sister venue, Slideways Go Karting World Pimpama, our high grip, high speed circuit.
Think you have what it takes to beat the best of the best on our unique Slideways track surface? Enter online for your chosen event by the early bird cut off, and you receive a FREE practice race!
Team events consisting of two to three driver crews, with the format featuring three-five minute long qualifying sessions to determine the grid, followed by a 75 minute long race.
Slideways Junior Sprint Series
Split into two categories – Cadets for ages 7-11 years (and over 120cm), plus Juniors for 12-15 year olds over 145cm tall. Following a two-lap qualifying run, all drivers in boh categories recieve three 10-minute-long races.
Slideways Open Sprint Series
Open to anyone over 145cm tall, the Sprint Series is for solo drivers, with the format featuring a two lap qualifying session, then three 10-minute sprints.
Slideways Ladies Sprint Series
For any female competitor over 145cm tall, the Slideways Ladies Sprint Series runs to an identical format as the other sprints, with qualifying and three heats.

- Hit book it, then follow the steps to either create a new account for new drivers, or log in with an account for current members using your email address. You may need to reset your password by clicking the ‘forgot password’ link.
- If you haven’t raced with us previously, you will also need to sign up on the day and purchase your Slideways Membership for $10.00 (includes balaclava).
Race Your Way Onto the Grid at Bathurst!
Recreational go kart racing can now take you right through to being on the grid at Bathurst!
- Every single race at Slideways Race Events count towards the season pointscore in determining the Slideways PWR Scholarship Program recipients – consistency throughout the year counts!
- Also earn full points in qualifying, by referring friends to Slideways Race Events, and by winning Best & Fairest nominations in events
- All categories count – Junior, Open Sprints, Ladies Sprints and Enduros get the opportunity to go Hyundai Excel Racing, Cadets continue along the path in Slideways Race Events
- The scholarship provides two-thirds the budget required to go circuit racing in the various stages of the program
- Total scholarship contribution to racing budget – up to $35,000 over five stages
