Maxim Erickson aboard the Slideways Go Karting Centres Ford Falcon Supercar starred on debut in the Kumho Tyre V8 Touring Car Series, with the class the major support act to the Supercars Championship at Queensland Raceway over the weekend.
Overall for the weekend, Maxim finished seventh from 18 competitors, with a highlight being placed third fastest in the second practice session on Friday afternoon.
Prior to his step up to the junior Supercars category, Maxim was a hard charger in the V8 Utes category, as well as in the local Hyundai Excel Series.
All-in-all, a job very well done, we can’t wait to see Maxim continue to progress along the motorsport ladder!
